Redesign Kompas.id Website
The Kompas.id homepage redesign was driven by the need to
improve content discoverability, user engagement, and mobile
experience. The previous layout lacked visual hierarchy and clarity,
leading to high bounce rates and low subscription conversions. This
redesign aims to deliver a cleaner, user-focused interface that
reflects Kompas’ journalistic credibility while supporting both
editorial and business goals.

My Role as Product Designer
As the product designer, I was responsible for creating an intuitive and effective interface to enhance content discoverability and user interaction on the Kompas.id homepage. I combined user research with data analysis on bounce rates and conversion to identify key issues in the old design. By developing wireframes, prototypes, and clean, structured UI visuals, I ensured the new design highlights Kompas' journalistic credibility while supporting editorial and business goals. Additionally, I actively collaborated with developers, content teams, and stakeholders to ensure the implementation aligned with the vision and iterated continuously based on user feedback and testing results.

In the wireframe creation phase, I was responsible for designing the basic layout framework of the homepage, prioritizing visual clarity and easy navigation. The wireframes served as an initial guide to organize key content and present a systematic information hierarchy. Focusing on user needs and business objectives, I developed multiple wireframe iterations to identify the most effective structure before moving on to visual design and prototyping. Collaboration with research and development teams ensured the wireframes were feasible for implementation and ready for further testing.
