My Role as Product Designer
Starting from user research to identify pain points and requirements, I am responsible for developing wireframes and interactive prototypes. This includes exploring visual concepts and conducting usability testing to ensure designs are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. I facilitate communication across design teams, developers, and management to maintain product goal alignment and quality, continuously iterating based on user feedback and data analytics to enhance the product in line with business objectives and user satisfaction.
In the wireframing stage, I focused on creating a clear and functional layout that defines the app’s core structure, content hierarchy, and navigation flow. The wireframe serves as a simple visual guide to communicate design ideas and user paths, enabling the team to quickly review and iterate. As the product designer, I translated user needs and research insights into an intuitive wireframe that supports seamless usability and prepares the foundation for detailed visual design.

Challenge
The main challenge in this project was balancing user needs with existing technical and business constraints while maintaining the Kompas.id brand consistency. Designing a clean yet informative interface that caters to diverse user segments required intensive iteration and close collaboration with research, development, and stakeholders. Additionally, ensuring a smooth transition between light and dark modes without compromising reading comfort and user preferences was a crucial aspect to address.
Solution
The solution focused on user-friendly design with clear layout and easy navigation. Adaptive UI supports both light and dark modes for visual comfort while maintaining brand consistency. Close collaboration with developers enabled integration of premium features and interactive elements like bookmarking, sharing, and audio. Iterations based on user feedback ensured a smooth experience aligned with business goals.
